In what cases can open reduction and internal fixation be used?
1.Manual reduction failure, poor alignment of fracture end, estimated to affect the function after healing.
2.Separation and displacement of the fracture, or soft tissue embedding at the fracture end.
3.Complicated with neurovascular injury.
4.Old fracture nonunion.
5.Malunion affecting function.
6.Multiple fractures in the same limb.
7.Open fracture without heavy contamination within 12 hours.
