The multi-function femoral Intramedullary Nail is an implant orthopedic used to treat femoral fractures.
Standard type is used for femoral shaft fractures. The reconstructed model is suitable for subtrochanteric fracture, femoral neck and ipsilateral fracture of femoral shaft.
The multi-function femoral Interlocking Nail can be divided into reconstruction nail mode, femur nail mode and gamma nail mode according to different locking modes. Restriction mode locking nail has 12°anteversion angle, and the use of two Cannulated Screws and the main nail at 130°, which can extend the application of the interlocking nail.
Anatomical staple design
The main nail has a 5° deflection Angle, so it is convenient to insert from the apex of the greater trochanter. The main nail is curved with a curvature radius of 1800mm, which conforms to the anatomical structure of the femur. Distal locking nail multi-plane design for increased stability. Dynamic and static locking of the distal end of the intramedullary nail is optional. The hole’s design of Intramedullary nail locking screw reduces the possibility of locking nail withdrawal. The Angle between the distal locking nail and the coronal plane is 18°. The end cap can reduce periarticular complications and facilitate the insertion and removal of the main nail.
Variety of functions
1. Repair fractures,Multifunctional femoral intramedullary nails can be used to hold broken bones together through nails and promote bone healing.
2. Hip reconstruction,During femur fracture surgery, multi-function femoral interlocking nail can reconstruct the Hip Joint structure by changing the Angle and position of the bone.
3. Stabilize the fracture,Multifunctional femoral intramedullary nails stabilize the fracture by reinforcing the nail and the fracture site, preventing the bone from shifting again.
4. Pain Relief,multi-function femoral intramedullary nail can reduce pain and discomfort by relieving pressure on the fracture site.
Overall, multi-function femoral interlocking nail is a very important interlocking nail orthopedic implant that can help doctors better treat femur fractures and improve patients' treatment outcomes and quality of life.
