Fracture orthopedic External Fixation is a method to fix the two folded ends of a fracture in anatomical and functional positions by passing through the skin from the outside with a Bone Screw, pin clip, and link.
Artificial repair and external fixation is a better method of fracture fixation at present, which fills the gap between plaster fixation and internal fixation. Among them, the ankle joint External Fixator and articular type of the standard external fixator are mainly for the fixation of intra-articular or proximal articular fractures.
Features and Advantages
1. The fixation method is simple, stable, reliable and effective. It is easy to change the wound dressing after the operation, which is beneficial to the control of infection.
2. It has less damage to bone blood supply and less impact on soft tissue coverage of fracture. It can be used for open fractures and can be repositioned and fixed.

Notes
The external fixator system should be removed when the fracture has reached the clinical standard of fracture healing. When removing the external fixator, the healing strength of the fracture should be accurately judged. In the absence of the strength of bone healing and obvious complications of external fixation, the external fixator should not be removed prematurely, especially in the treatment of old fractures, comminuted fractures, and nonunion.
